I bought, over the years, 6 or 7 different brushes of different makers. I was looking for a very large one and I found the Saphir brand on Brillaré website. It's not only large, the brush horse air is also very soft and supple, now my best one.

These trees are made of an aromatic eastern red cedar and have a nice 3D shape. I bought these and several other cheaper brands to see what I’d be happy with. All of the cheaper trees were common western red cedar. Also, nothing came close to how well these fit the 3d shape of a shoe or boot. I returned the other brands. These are worth the price difference.

This purchase was a gift for my son who loves shoe care. He was thrilled with it and couldn't say enough good things while he was polishing his shoes (and mine!!).

My father has been polishing his shoes his whole life. He turns 80 next year. He told me to buy him this polish because he wants to take care of a pair of fine leather shoes he’s had for probably 40 years. So, I got him this polish. He’s used it, and is absolutely delighted with the shine he’s getting on those shoes.
