They are perfect for the traveller who wants to avoid creasing on his leather shoes. For this purpose, I usually use cedar shoe trees but they are heavier. Thus, this kind of shoe trees is perfect, it weights almost nothing for luggage ;)

It actually worked really good on my boots. I’m very happy with it. It will last a lifetime, as I barely had to use any of it on the boots to make them look good.

These trees are made of an aromatic eastern red cedar and have a nice 3D shape. I bought these and several other cheaper brands to see what I’d be happy with. All of the cheaper trees were common western red cedar. Also, nothing came close to how well these fit the 3d shape of a shoe or boot. I returned the other brands. These are worth the price difference.
